CAPS offers funding opportunities and support to its faculty and graduate students in four areas: professional development; reading interest groups; invitation of visiting scholars and guest lecturers; and FLAS Fellowships for graduate students.

All CAPS faculty and graduate are eligible to apply for these opportunities. Preference will be given to those whose primary research focus is Asia, though others are welcome to apply.

CAPS of course continues to welcome grant activity by individual CAPS faculty. As in the past, the CAPS staff can offer assistance in developing and managing budgets for such activity.
