Jeremiah Lecture Series
Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships
The
Center for Asian and Pacific Studies is accepting proposals for
speakers to visit the UO and deliver a public lecture on campus.
These guests will be part of the Jeremiah Lecture Series, administered
by the Center for Asian and Pacific Studies. We have funds to pay
most expenses associated with the lecture, including honorarium,
travel, publicity, reception, etc. Applicants are encouraged to
include possible cosponsors in their applications. The visitors
must lecture on a topic related to Asia and/or the Pacific and be
relevant to a public audience.
Proposals should include:
- Name and affiliation of proposed speaker
- General topic to be addressed
- Anticipated expenses (for help with this, please contact Lori at loholl@uoregon.edu or 346-1521)
- A very brief explanation of the proposed lecture and its significance to Asian and/or Pacific Studies
Deadlines for the 2009-10 Academic Year:
