Reiko Hashimoto specializes in Japanese language. Dr. Hashimoto’s particular focus is on language learning strategies and styles, cross-cultural issues in second language acquisition, and qualitative research methods in second language acquisition. In addition to teaching Japanese language courses, she serves as Advising Coordinator for Japanese Language Program. She received her M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language from Minnesota State University, Mankato and her Ph.D. in Foreign Language Education from Indiana University.
