Naoko Nakadate is the senior instructor of Japanese at the University of Oregon. She teaches first through fifth year Japanese, dedicating all of her time to international studies courses. Her publication, “Learning from Maps: Readings in the Geography of Japan” was written in collaboration with Hiroko Kataoka, Madoka Kudakabe and Yumiko Shiotani, (1996).
