NRC Language Instructor Travel Grants

 

The University of Oregon’s National Resource Center for East Asian Studies is offering travel awards of up to $800 in support of the professional activities of its instructors of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Travel can be used to present at professional conferences, attend pedagogy workshops, or conduct site visits to other campuses.

 

Application Instructions:

  1. Complete the following online application by April 6, 2018
  2. Request a letter of support from the EALL Department Head to be emailed to lakey@uoregon.edu by the application deadline.

Due to limited funding, priority will be given to applications that support the programmatic needs of the department. Please contact Holly Lakey at lakey@uoregon.edu with any questions.

NRC Faculty Travel Grants

The University of Oregon’s National Resource Center for East Asian Studies is offering travel awards of up to $2,000 in support of program development activities with institutions in East Asia. Faculty and staff engaged in East Asian program building are eligible to apply. These travel awards are not intended for research; applicants must articulate how the proposed travel will enhance program development.

Application Deadline for 2018-19:  April 6, 2018
